In Middle Eastern countries like Morocco, brides have a special ceremonial bath a couple of days before the wedding, and are then decorated with henna, perfume, and beautiful jewelry.

Arabic and Islamic cultures hold very elaborate and expensive wedding celebrations. It's not uncommon for hundreds or even thousands of guests to attend an expensive wedding affair in Arab countries. Large hotels are rented out in order to accommodate the gathering of guests. The wedding ceremonies can last up to three days!
